We’re coming off a significant sugar crash from Halloween, but we have a feeling once this candy hangover subsides, we’ll be ready to tackle the weekend. Fortunately, we’ve got a full slate of balloons, block parties and food fests to keep us happy.

Saturday, November 3 | Prestonwood Polo Club

Whew, what a mouthful! Let’s just call it “That Hot Air Balloon Thing” and leave it at that for now. Head up to Prestonwood Polo Club for some early morning ballooning Saturday before taking in a full day of polo. (That’s the excuse to drink and eat food outside. Don’t worry about bringing your own balloon or horse — they’ll be provided to you upon arrival. (Ed. note: This isn’t true. Also, please don’t bring a horse or hot air balloon.)

Saturday, November 3 | Dallas City Hall

Explore how video, light and sound art could impact our futures in Aurora: Future Worlds. The 5th installment of this free public art event will take place Saturday night at Dallas City Hall with dozens of artists showcasing their visions for the future.
