50+ Restaurant and Drink Tasting Partners!

Over $20,000 Raised For Local Charities

Pawling, NY (8/10/16) — The Victory Cup Polo Match returned to the Hudson Valley, New York last month to present: “The Victory Cup Farm Bash” and by all account, it was a smashing success!

Over 1,500 attendees showed up dressed to the nines complete with searsucker suits and large floppy hats to enjoy “The Best Party Of The Summer.” Even Vineyard Vines joined the festivities with their “Whale Force” caravan and hundreds of Whale Hats to match! The event was hosted at Kirby Hill Farm, a modern equestrian center owned and operated by Diamond Properties and is located on a rolling countryside of forests and trails in Pawling, NY.

“We were honored to host the Victory Cup at Kirby Hill Farm in Pawling. Diamond Properties, along with our guests had a wonderful time at this unique and signature equestrian event. It was an absolutely amazing event to highlight the beauty of this property. We are greatly looking forward to hosting the event next year,” said Jim and Bill Diamond of Diamond Properties, owners of Kirby Hill Farm.

While the event was a private, for-profit event, The Victory Cup partnered with Green Chimneys and Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue affording them the opportunity to receive 70% of all ticket sales! The Victory Cup also encouraged attendees to donate directly to these wonderful not-for-profits.

The president of the New York Yankees Randy Levine and his lovely wife, Mindy, answered the call. They graciously agreed to match donated funds to Green Chimneys to help raise a total of $20,000 for this wonderful not-for-profit. The funds came from direct donations, ticket sales as well as a New York Yankees Experience silent auction item!

“It was our pleasure and an honor to participate in this year’s Victory Cup. Not only was it a great success in a multitude of ways, but Green Chimneys and Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue – both organizations close to our hearts – will surely benefit from the funds and awareness raised due to the great efforts on behalf of all who worked hard to make this as wonderful as it was,” said Mindy Levine.

“It was truly exciting to be a part of The Victory Cup and have the opportunity to introduce ourselves to so many new people,” states Kristin Dionne, Director of Fund Development. “The friends made and funds raised means a lot for the children we serve and our animals who help them. And the fun day was a bonus for all of us!”

Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue also received a total of $607.89 from ticket sales and also received direct donations of $1,975 on behalf of Victory Cup attendees.

“As director of Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, I am grateful to have been part of The Victory Cup for two years in a row. As a charity, the opportunity to share the mission of my organization is tremendous. As an attendee or as a vendor, the event brings in the masses! What an amazing party,” said Deanna Mancuso.

The VIP and Hospitality tents offered guests a refined experience while they mixed and mingle with premier event sponsors and partners. Diamond Properties, Mindy & Randy Levine, Subaru, Tito’s Hand Crafted Vodka, Schmitt Excavating, Shaylene Neumann Real Estate, The Valley Table and Black Stone Texas were just some of the proud sponsors of this wonderful family & pet friendly event.

“Dutchess Tourism was pleased to partner to promote the Victory Cup Polo Match at Kirby Hill Farm; it was a great opportunity to attract more and new visitors to Dutchess County,” said Melaine Rottkamp, director of special events, outreach and administration who attended the event. “Everywhere I looked, people had smiles on their faces as they enjoyed the polo matches, the locally produced food and beverages and the excitement of the day.” She added, “Over 2,500 visitors came from all over the Hudson Valley, the northeast and as far as Texas and Arizona to attend this terrific event and explore the unique things that make us Distinctly Dutchess. We are looking forward to seeing this event continue to grow in the coming years.”

Following polo, Victory Cup Farm to Table pass holders rolled into an exclusive Farm to Table Dinner prepared by Chefs Rich Parente of Clock Tower Grill, Michael Chutney of The Twisted Oak and Chopped Champion Chef Dafna Mizrahi of Monte’s in Amenia! The dinner was literally on the polo field with the polo players themselves and enjoyed by 200 guests!
